High School Biology Teachers

Green Dot Public Schools is seeking passionate High School Biology Teachers for the 2026–27 school year. If you will be eligible for a California Single Subject Intern, Preliminary, or Clear Biology credential by July 2026, we encourage you to apply.

• Create a strong, inclusive culture of learning in Biology classrooms
• Deliver rigorous, engaging Biology instruction aligned to Common Core and state standards
• Use data to inform instruction and assess student learning

• Strong content knowledge in Biology and instructional skills

• Ability to pass TB test and background check
• Passion for teaching and a reflective instructional practice

• California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject Credential in Biology, OR
• California Single Subject Intern Credential (intern-eligible in Biology), OR
• Eligible for STSP or PIP with valid CPR certification
• Out-of-state or non-credentialed candidates should review eligibility through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

• Credentialed teachers: $71,085 – $127,985
• Intern-eligible/non-credentialed teachers: $62,316 – $63,866
