Base pay range: $20.04/hr - $22.04/hr

  early August for the upcoming  regular school year
• Full‑time
• Locations:
  Culver City, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Valley Glen
• Grade levels:
  Pre‑School through Vocational (ages 22 and under)

• Instruct individual and small group lessons as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Implement behavior plans and manage student behavior using positive, strength‑based strategies.
• Apply appropriate crisis intervention protocols in accordance with the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) and school/agency policies to ensure student safety.
• Assist with paperwork and record keeping as needed.
• Accompany students on school transportation (taxi/bus) during morning and afternoon routes.

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in special education or a related field strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability in assisting with all aspects of classroom instruction, including teaching, implementing behavior plans, and managing student behavior using a positive, strengths‑based approach.
• Prior experience working with children in an educational environment highly desired.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is one component of our total compensation package. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
