If you have experience working with kids as a tutor, coach, teacher, youth leader, or other role in which you demonstrated a passion for investing in students' future, we want to talk to you.

While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:

• Location:
  
  Los Angeles Unified School District Schools,  school year;
  Los Angeles, CA 90011
• Schedule:
  
  1:00 PM TO 4:00 PM (3-4 times per week)
• Hours:
  
  9-12 hours per week, with the possibility of 15+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours.
• Pay: $22 per hour standard;
  $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request);
  $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor.

• Grades Kindergarten-5th Math/ELA
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• Meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• Can provide 3 professional references
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• Have at least one year of student-related experience
• Are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• Are an effective communicator
• Have reliable transportation
• Can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• Love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
