Threefold Village warmly invites applicants for a first Grade Teacher to join our growing enrichment program. This part‑time opportunity is both meaningful and rewarding for those called to serve in the art of Waldorf education.
We seek a dedicated educator who brings not only experience and training in Waldorf pedagogy and Anthroposophy, but also enthusiasm, warmth, and a deep respect for the journey of the child. Waldorf Certification or enrollment in a recognized Waldorf Teacher Training program is required. The ideal candidate demonstrates skillful classroom guidance, values partnership with families, and communicates with clarity, compassion, and professionalism.
Threefold Village is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating an inclusive Waldorf pedagogy within Los Angeles’s vibrant homeschool community. Our mission is to support parents, families, and educators by fostering connection, rhythm, and a sense of belonging. Through our Waldorf‑inspired enrichment and specialty offerings, we seek to create a space where children, families, and teachers can experience the beauty, wonder, and support of a true learning community.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience teaching Waldorf pedagogy in any educational setting
- Waldorf Certified or currently enrolled in a Waldorf Teacher Training program
- Proven ability to foster positive classroom environments and build strong partnerships with students and families
- Exceptional communication skills
- Active engagement or strong interest in Anthroposophy or foundational studies
- Willingness to complete background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Collaborative mindset and a commitment to servant leadership
- Willingness to mentor and guide teaching assistants
- Commitment to maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to supervise children effectively
- Ability to lead workshops and community events for parents and families
- Passion for bringing creativity, beauty, and inspiration to the Waldorf curriculum
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred)
- Waldorf Certification (preferred)
- CPR certification
- Demonstrated classroom management experience
- Experience building and maintaining positive parent relationships
