St. Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic School serves students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and student-centered 4th Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

• Teach 4th Grade English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Religion.
• Implement rigorous, standards-based instruction aligned with school curriculum and academic goals.
• Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Integrate Catholic values and faith formation throughout the curriculum and daily classroom experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community events.

• Bachelor’s degree required; teaching credential preferred.
• Previous elementary teaching experience preferred.
• Practicing Catholic preferred and willing to support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to data-driven instruction and continuous professional growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.
• Flexible, innovative, and dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of students.

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
