EssentialResponsibilities

- Will need to pass a TB test and background check at time of offer.
- Possess (or will possess by July 2026) a valid California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject credential in Biology.
- Eligible for a California Single Subject Intern credential in Biology (candidate must earn an Intern credential by July 2026).
- Eligible for a Short‑Term Staff Permit (STSP) or Provisional Internship Permit (PIP).
- Have a valid CPR certification that meets the standards established by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
For credentialed teachers, the current salary scale ranges from $71,085 to $127,985, depending on education level and years of experience. For aspiring teachers who have not yet obtained their credentials or who are currently enrolled in a credentialing program, the salary range is between $62,316 and $63,866.
