Schedule: 30 hours/week, shifts vary per location
Reports to: Site Coordinator
Program hours of operation: 8:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM (varies per location)

Woodcraft Rangers provides TK‑12 expanded learning programs, including before and after school, specialty enrichment, and summer learning. In the past few years, Woodcraft has expanded its menu of services beyond traditional after school programs and summer camps to include early learning, environmental and social justice, college access, and inclusion services for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, we offer Lifecraft, a college and career advancement program to support the development of approximately 1,500 staff.
Today, Woodcraft Rangers serves more than 30,000 youth ages 4 to 18 each year across 160 plus Title I schools in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties, and continues to expand its reach.
As an Assistant Site Coordinator, you support the Site Coordinator in overseeing all on‑site logistics with an emphasis on administrative responsibilities. Your duties include leading daily meal logistics, field‑trip logistics, and events, and acting as the next point of contact for parents, community members, administration, and staff.
Note: The Assistant Site Coordinator position is an on‑site position, including attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office in Little Tokyo and school sites.
Role Overview- Ensure students are always in a safe environment (physically and emotionally) and promote an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity for all program participants, staff, and families.
- In collaboration with the Site Coordinator, support the on‑site team to perform their duties and deliver high‑quality programs and/or customer service.
- Coordinate snacks and meals with food services vendor, provide any related training to WR team, and submit required documentation to the vendor.
- Effectively implement site protocols, safety regulations, WR procedures, and policies.
- Oversee and track all compliance requirements, ensuring all required documentation is submitted accurately and timely, including attendance records, program surveys, and program cycle reports.
