We areseekinga dedicated and passionate Instructional Assistant to support our classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education to students. The ideal candidate willbe responsible for working with students one-on-one,facilitatingsmall group instruction,assisting in the development and implementation of lesson plans, and supporting student supervision. This role plays a vital part in ensuring every student receives the individualized attention they need to succeed academically, while also contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Assistant position include (but are not limited to):

• Provides focused lessons to individuals or small group(s) of students identified through the MTSS process
• Tutors individuals and small groups of students in various subject areas.
• Utilizes data to plan instruction and prepare forfacilitatinglessons with students
• Tracks data and goals, as well as communicating to students and supervisors
• Communicates student growth or areas of need to teacher, supervisor, and MTSS team, in writing and verbally to support further student growth
• Assistsinmaintaining student records and files.
• Supports with 1:1 or small group testing administration throughout the school year
• Operates equipment such as copy machines,computers and audiovisual equipment.
• Attend andparticipatein professional development
• Work closely with the teacher and other instructional staff to address student needs and contribute to ongoing educational improvements.
• Support communication with parents by providing updates on student progress or challenges, when needed.

• Provides occasional teacher coverage
• Supervise students in all indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe environment.
• Supervise students during breakfast,lunchand snack time.
• Executes the Bright Star culture plan and training to support a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for students
• Encourage children to interact positively with other children and people around them.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the teacher and classroom team to ensure the individual needs of all children are met.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Any other duties as assigned.
