ATIN TEACHER Full-time Teaching Position  /p>

The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to pedagogically distinguished instruction and effective communication and collaboration, with a professional desire for continuous improvement and innovation. /p> SSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES  ul> li>Develop and deliver rigorous, engaging, and differentiated instruction for 5 sections in a college-preparatory environment, utilizing best practices in pedagogy and technology to accelerate and deepen student learning. /li> li>Design and utilize formative and summative assessments, providing timely constructive feedback oriented towards student growth and continuous improvement.

/li> li>Actively participate as an integral member of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to plan, evaluate programs, and collaborate on enhancing professional practice. /li> li>Establish and maintain a culture of respect and a functional learning environment that supports the Jesuit philosophy of cura personalis (care for the whole person), valuing and treating students with empathy. /li> li>Support the schools’ Jesuit, Catholic formational mission by assisting with retreats, school-wide liturgies, and community service programs.

/li> li>Actively engage beyond the classroom by moderating co-curricular activities and/or clubs. /li> li>Fulfill assigned administrative duties, including exam proctoring, classroom substitutions, yard supervision, and prefecting at athletic or student events. /li> li>Primary Teaching Assignment: 5 sections of upper and lower level Latin. /li> /ul> UALIFICATIONS  ducation and

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Latin, Classics, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. /p> referred Qualifications (Desired):  p>A CA teaching credential or completion of a teacher preparation program.  >Experience teaching in a high school setting. /p> nowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  ul> li>A strong commitment to advancing Loyola’s mission and a deep appreciation for the School’s history, achievements, and aspirations.

/li> li>Demonstrate subject-matter expertise and a deep understanding of assessment and evaluation techniques to support student learning. /li> li>Possess effective instructional and classroom management skills in order to maintain a functional learning environment. /li> li>Ability to motivate and inspire students to succeed at college-preparatory levels. /li> li>Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and cultivate effective professional relationships with students, colleagues, and parents in support of student success.

/li> li>Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, across all levels of the organization. /li> li>Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity with diverse groups across lines of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, class, ability, gender, and other identifiers. /li> li>Ability to use critical-thinking skills to solve complex problems, with a willingness to challeng assumptions and explore new approaches to student learning.

/li> li>Proficiency with technology, including the Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Gmail), learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom). /li> /ul> OMPENSATION & BENEFITS  p>Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 /p> p>Loyola offers employees the ability to build a personalized benefits package from available medical, dental, vision, and other supplemental coverage plans /p> p>Employees also benefit from employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.
