We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Entry Level Librarian in Los Angeles. As a librarian you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library materials, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about books and enjoys working in a quiet and peaceful environment.

No prior experience is required, making this a great opportunity for freshers or individuals looking to start their career in the library field.

• Catalogue new library materials using appropriate classification systems
• Maintain accurate records of library inventory and circulation
• Assist patrons with locating materials and providing reference services
• Develop and implement library programs to promote literacy and engage the community
• Ensure the library space is clean, organized and welcoming for all visitors
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in literature, technology and library services

• Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Fluency in English required
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus but not required

Starting salary for this position is $900 per month. Salary may vary based on experience and qualifications.
