Enjoy part‑time work supervising students in after‑school programs at Richard Merkin Middle School, Downtown LA.

• Instruct and manage up to 20 students in a classroom setting.
• Provide homework and academic assistance and curriculum instruction.
• Teach a talent or hobby during 6‑ to 8‑week sessions (e.g., cheer, sports, dance, media arts, cooking, science).
• Support the organization’s vision and goals.
• Create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for students.
• Participate in ongoing trainings, workshops, and professional development.

• High school diploma (some college preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and classroom/behavior management skills.
• Positive attitude, strong time‑management, flexibility, and ability to think on your feet.
• Highly energetic, active, creative, resourceful.
• Available evenings and weekends.

• Cheer (knowledge of competition choreography and stunting)
• Sports (basketball and/or soccer)
• Latin Dance
• Media Art (photography, computers, graphic design)
• Cooking/Baking (create affordable, nutritious menu for kids)
• Science (hands‑on experiments, make science cool and fun)

Pay: $10 per hour, based on experience and education.

Hours:

15–20 hours per week.

Specify which enrichment classes you can teach (arts and crafts, cheer, music, soccer, etc.).
