English Language Teacher in Los Angeles

As an English Language Teacher you will be responsible for teaching students from different backgrounds and nationalities. Your main objective will be to help students improve their English language skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening. You will use various teaching methods and techniques to keep students engaged and motivated in the learning process.

• Bachelors degree in English or related field
• Teaching experience with students of different ages and nationalities
• Excellent knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
• Ability to create lesson plans and materials according to students needs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
• Patience and understanding towards students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Familiarity with different teaching methods such as communicative approach or task-based learning
• Fluency in Arabic or Tagalog is a plus

• Plan and deliver effective lessons that cater to the needs of individual students
• Use a variety of activities, resources and materials to make lessons engaging and interactive
• Assess students language proficiency through quizzes, tests and assignments
• Provide constructive feedback on each students progress and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas and strategies for teaching English effectively
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions and professional development workshops as required
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes multiculturalism and diversity

Salary $1500 per month tax-free
