Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting student success as a school psychologist within a dedicated educational setting in the greater New Orleans area. This full-time, onsite contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of May 2027, aligning with the school calendar and offering you the chance to make a lasting impact for multiple academic years.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Must hold a current Louisiana DOE certification for School Psychologists
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred
  • Willingness to complete district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable to diverse student needs and capable of managing evolving caseloads across assigned schools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and assessments
  • Offer individual and group counseling to support student emotional and academic growth
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that address student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations that foster positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district standards
