About The Program
The Series Fest Mobile Cinema Lab is a traveling program that brings video production and storyteller education into schools and community sites across Colorado and nationwide. The program features up-to-date film and audio equipment and instruction by professional filmmakers. We have a fully developed curriculum that guides students through writing, production, post-production, and more. Series Fest strives to inspire and celebrate the voice of every student and we believe it is our mission to break down barriers that limit access for students in our community.
As schools change and grow, the importance of visual literacy and 21st-century skills becomes more and more important. Series Fest Mobile Cinema Lab brings STEAM-based educational strategies to students, offering both in-school education and extracurricular programs.
The program serves students 9th–12th grade, with a maximum of 20 students per program.
Thanks to and in partnership with Best Buy, the Mobile Cinema Lab will be in Los Angeles from roughly October 2026 through May 2027. Exact details will be provided in the interview process.
