Introduction
The Dean provides collaborative leadership for college-wide institutional effectiveness efforts, including strategic planning, accreditation, institutional research, learning outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement. The Dean also provides leadership and expertise in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of institutional effectiveness initiatives, supports evidence-based decision-making, and advances student success and equitable outcomes through the effective use of data, assessment, and institutional research.
Job Description
Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) announces an opening for a full-time Dean of Institutional Effectiveness.
The Deanprovidescollaborativeleadershipandexpertisein the planning, implementation, and assessment, and continuous improvement of LATTC’s Educational and Strategic Master Plan, institutional effectiveness initiatives, accreditation self-evaluation and reporting, learning outcomes assessment, program review, institutional research, and other student success and equity strategies. The Dean fosters a culture of evidence-based decision-making by working collaboratively with faculty, classified professionals, administrators, and participatory governance groups to support continuous quality improvement and institutional effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree(fromU.S.Department of Educationrecognizedaccredited institutions). *
- Atleastoneyearofformaltraining,internship,orleadershipexperience reasonably related to the assignment.
- Sensitivitytoandunderstandingofthediverseacademic,socioeconomic,cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Provides leadership in the planning, review, revision, and evaluation of the Strategic Educational Master Plan .
- Providesleadershipinthemanagementofcollege-wideplanningeffortswhile establishing a college culture of institutional effectiveness, continuous improvement, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Works with the faculty accreditation co-chair and accreditation liaison officer tofacilitatetheinstitution’saccreditationself-evaluation process, preparation of reports, and ongoing compliance with ACCJC standards.
- Collaborates with Student Learning Outcomes Faculty Leads to support the review,assessment, and continuous improvementofoutcomesforallinstructionalandnon-instructional programs.
- Collaborates with college leadership to supportthecollege’sprogramreview process, resource allocation process, strategic enrollment plan, and the college integrated planning process.
- Collaborates with Accreditation Coordinator and college stakeholders to support accreditation, institutional planning, and student success initiatives by providing research, data analysis, performance metrics, and evidence-based recommendations that inform institutional decision - making.
- Providescollaborativeleadershipininstitutionalaccountabilitymeasuresandkey performance indicators for student access and success.
- Providesdataandperformancemeasurementsupporttoindividualsthatreview programs, accreditation, and compliance.
- Researchesandanalyzestrendsineducationforuseasaresourcebythe president, vice presidents, deans, and faculty for curriculum development, student achievement measures, and to support strategic decision-making.
