Part-Time Librarian in Los Angeles; English speaking

We are seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Librarian you will be responsible for managing the library collection, providing reference and information services to patrons, and developing and implementing library programs. This is an ideal opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone looking for a part-time role.

• Manage and organize the library collection including cataloging and shelving books
• Provide reference and information services to patrons including assisting with research inquiries and recommending resources
• Develop and implement engaging library programs such as book clubs and childrens story time
• Maintain library policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the library
• Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute special events and projects
• Assist with maintaining the librarys online presence through social media and website updates

• Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a library or customer service role preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English
• Knowledge of current library practices procedures and technologies
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a part-time position offering a salary of $1700 per month.
