Job Summary

Reporting to the Principal or administrative designee, the Resource Specialist Teacher designs and delivers individualized instruction for students by assessing academic, social-emotional, and transition needs and using data to guide instruction, behavior supports, and IEP goals. Implements diverse instructional strategies and intervention programs to meet varied learner needs while promoting engagement, independence, and critical thinking. Maintains a safe, structured, and respectful learning environment through consistent behavior management, close supervision, and proactive de-escalation practices.
