Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based setting as an Educational Diagnostician, supporting students and teachers through expert assessment and guidance. This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals energized by meaningful work and the chance to make a lasting difference. Candidates will work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar, with a daily 30-minute lunch break.

• Active Louisiana DOE Certification (required)
• Demonstrated background as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working in school environments supporting diverse student populations
• Ability to perform comprehensive educational assessments and contribute to educational planning
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with faculty, families, and external partners
• Flexibility and readiness to adapt to assignments across multiple campuses as needed
• Capacity to pass required district credentialing, including a separate drug screening and fingerprinting process

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop student educational plans
• Interpret results to inform instruction and support strategies for students of varying age groups (specific caseload and age groups to be determined upon assignment)
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create targeted recommendations and interventions
• Maintain clear, organized documentation in compliance with local and state requirements
• Participate in school meetings to advocate for effective, evidence-based practices
