Overview
Samson Rose been exclusively engaged by a pioneering Robotics & AI company to find an Embedded Compute Engineer on their Hardware Team who will help build and optimize the compute systems that power next-generation robotic platforms.
This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll contribute across the full compute stack from firmware on microcontrollers to ROS data streams on SBCs and collaborate closely with the sensor, electrical, and autonomy teams to deliver tightly integrated solutions ready for deployment in challenging field environments.

Architect and configure embedded compute platforms (ARM/x86, SBCs) for robotics, including evaluation, testing, and selection.
Bring up sensors and peripherals using USB, Ethernet, GMSL, I²C, SPI, CAN.
Work with vendors to procure compute hardware, develop QA checks, and support payload integration.
