CQV Engineer; Biopharma

We are hiring on behalf of a client for a highly autonomous CQV Engineer to support capital projects within the biopharmaceutical industry
. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role requiring an experienced professional who can independently manage and execute Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities without supervision or training. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution and documentation across the full CQV lifecycle.

• Independently manage and execute CQV activities for capital projects
• Lead CQV project execution and coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders
• Author, review, and execute IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports
• Perform IOQ for large‑scale process systems (mandatory)
• Support commissioning and qualification of equipment such as filter presses or centrifuges
• Ensure timely review and approval of CQV documentation
• Ability to work occasional off‑shifts or weekends

• No reliance on supervision; must be able to contribute immediately

• 3–10 years of direct CQV experience on large‑scale equipment within the biopharma industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Mandatory experience with IOQ of large‑scale process systems (filter press or centrifuge – at least one required)
• No CSV or small‑scale equipment CQV experience
• Strong expertise across the full CQV lifecycle (IQ, OQ, PQ)
• Proven ability to self‑manage projects from initiation through closeout
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities
• Kneat experience is a strong plus
• Must be local to Los Angeles, CA (no relocation, no weekend‑only availability)
