We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our LA – Woodland Hills office. The successful candidate will be a licensed engineer skilled in the design of steel, concrete and wood commercial/institutional buildings, and will grow with our dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team.

• Perform and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects.
• Collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors to produce well‑coordinated high‑quality structural drawings.
• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs.
• Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design.
• Interface with contractors during construction to ensure positive results with minimal complications.
• Manage project profitability and maintain working relationships with clients.
• Work closely with the Discipline Manager to support departmental, project, and growth objectives.

• Approximate Base Salary – $120,000 – $150,000+ based on experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
• Competitive end‑of‑year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
• Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
• 401(k) with maximum 5% contribution matching for 9% employee contribution.

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE or SE registration in any state.
• 10 or more years of experience designing concrete, steel, and timber structures.
• Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight.
• Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Registered CA Structural Engineer.
• M.S. degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Multi‑discipline project management experience.
• Experience with DSA and OSHPD.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (ETABS, RISA, SAFE).

• Self‑starter with a big‑picture perspective, able to align company vision with day‑to‑day work.
• Passionate about client service and takes ownership of responsibilities.
• Multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment, or demonstrates ability to develop such skills.
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
