- Plan and execute subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs.
- Perform geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, embankments, retaining walls, excavations, and underground structures.
- Collaborate with structural, civil, and other engineers in the design and evaluation of building foundations, bridge foundations, and tunnels
- Perform numerical analysis using engineering software for seismic site response analyses, slopes, excavations, foundations, and underground structures.
- Utilize numerical modelling software such as PLAXIS-3D, LSDyna and FLAC.
- Evaluate and assess data from field instrumentation, including settlement, ground movement around excavations and load tests of piles and anchors, to calibrate predicted performance with actual performance.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations.
- Assist with administrative duties and provide management support as assigned by sub-group leader.
- Assist with business development activities.
- Requires Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
- Salary range: $96,470.00 - $/year
