THE WORK- You'll drive process improvements by partnering with operational units to identify and document inefficiencies across airside and terminal operations.
- You'll collect and analyze aviation operational data, including historic and future flight schedules.
- You'll monitor airfield and gate activity using Aerobahn and other operational tracking systems.
- You'll assess TSA, CBP, staffing levels, equipment utilization, baggage handling, and space occupancy data.
- You'll develop gated flight schedules for upcoming seasons.
- You'll establish baseline gate and counter allocations for common-use facilities.
- You'll lead and review studies to enhance operational efficiency, expand capacity, and reduce delays.
- You'll evaluate operational impacts stemming from construction, policy, safety, or technical changes.
- You'll perform simulation and modeling analyses using CAST Gate/Stand Allocation and Simio tools.
- You'll conduct gate utilization and passenger queueing analyses and review third‑party modeling methodologies and assumptions.
- You'll perform field observations to validate data and better understand airport operations.
- You'll review massing studies, stacking plans, and conceptual layouts, providing operationally focused recommendations and improvement sketches.
- You'll coordinate with commercial, operations, and maintenance stakeholders while preparing reports and presentations for airport management.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering
- 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Licensed Engineer (preferably by CA Board of Engineers) required
- Proficient with MS Office and MS 365 products
- Experience in CAST or aircraft gate/stand allocation
- Experience with Simio or processing/flow simulation software
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, etc., and/or any other relevant professional licensure or certification
- Preferred experience with data and statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, etc.
- Preferred experience with analytical software such as Excel, Power
BI, Tableau, GIS - Preferred experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, GIS, etc.
$189,090 - $208,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
