A Civil Engineering Drafting Technician performs drafting using a Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) system and other tools in the preparation of engineering designs, plans, and maps.
SalaryANNUAL SALARY: $67,922 to $99,305. The salary in the Los Angeles World Airports and the Harbor Department is $74,019 to $108,179. The salary in the Department of Water and Power is $86,714 to $107,719; $90,306 to $112,209; $92,206 to $114,547; $94,231 to $117,095.
Notes: Annual salary is at the start of the pay range. The current salary range is subject to change. Please confirm the starting salary with the hiring department before accepting a job offer. Candidates from the eligible list are normally appointed to vacancies in the lower pay grade positions. Qualifications / RequirementsIn accordance with Charter Section 1010 (b) and Civil Service Rule 5.31, selective certification may be used for positions requiring special skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map, ArcGIS, Autodesk Revit, Bentley Suite Applications, and/or Micro Station. Only applicants with these skills at filing may be considered for such appointments.
