Responsibilities- Creates basic to moderately complex instrumentation, controls and related systems designs using 3D and 4D design practices. Assists with specification development. Creates basic to moderately complex Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) graphics, programmable logic controller (PLC) programming, report development, etc. Assists with testing and startup of control systems.
- Reviews basic to highly complex component‑level shop drawings and contractor clarifications. Assists with testing oversight.
- Leads staff and provides direction and mentoring for junior staff. Reviews the work of junior staff as necessary.
- Under general supervision, assists in the preparation of proposal sections and presentations, as directed. Supports marketing and new‑business activities as requested to support the Automation strategy. May participate in proposals.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of related experience
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
- Experience with Water/Wastewater highly preferred.
- Experience with in an Engineering and/or integration firm highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, controls and related systems designs. PLC and HMI experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Expert knowledge of 3D and 4D design practices.
