Senior Electrical Engineer

We are a dynamic Consulting Engineering and Construction Management firm specializing in the design of critical infrastructure and buildings across California. Our projects serve communities through public agencies and private clients, spanning transportation, education, industrial, commercial, and high-rise facilities.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with 10–15 years of experience to join our team on a long-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful, high-profile projects while taking a leadership role in design, quality assurance, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform power and communication distribution/infrastucture design (high, medium, and low voltage), lighting, emergency power, and data systems for large-scale projects.
• Conduct field surveys, site inspections, and short-circuit/coordination studies.
• Review and provide QA/QC oversight of electrical drawings and specifications prepared by other designers.
• Prepare budget cost estimates, technical reports, and detailed design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with California electrical codes, NEC, Title 24, and other applicable regulations.
• Attend and actively participate in client and contractor meetings, providing technical guidance and resolving issues.
• Manage projects from concept through completion, coordinating across disciplines and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Educational facilities (K–12 schools, colleges, universities)
• Industrial, commercial, hotel, and high-rise building projects
• Commissioning and startup of complex electrical systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license in California strongly preferred)
• 10–15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in consulting or construction management
• Strong knowledge of NEC, Title 24, Cal Green, and local codes
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related design tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
