THE OPPORTUNITY The
*** Senior Electronics Quality Technician II
*** reports to the Quality Supervisor on the Operations - Quality Control team.  The successful individual in this role will support Stream Caster MANET product development and manufacturing. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant
** West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis of failed units, including complex PCB assemblies and radio frequency components.
* Own high-priority RMA cases requiring detailed forensic investigation and documentation.
* Perform precision soldering and rework of fine-pitch SMT and BGA components, including under-microscope repairs.
* Serve as a technical liaison among the Quality, RMA, Engineering, and Production teams.
* Develop and refine test protocols, repair procedures, and inspection criteria in coordination with Engineering.
* Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior and senior-level technicians.
* Assist with prototype builds, test fixture development, and validation testing for Engineering projects.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to workmanship standards, inspection methods, and failure reporting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in an electronics work environment. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and a combination of experience will also be considered.
* Expert-level hand soldering and rework skills for SMT, through-hole, and BGA components.
* Strong experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
