You’ll get hands‑on experience building, supporting, and troubleshooting the networks that keep our production labs, data centers, and cloud systems connected. • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless systems
• Support network monitoring and troubleshooting efforts across offices, production labs, data centers, and cloud environments
• Help configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other security controls under the guidance of senior engineers
• Assist with documenting network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Support connectivity and access for corporate IT systems, lab equipment, and mission‑critical operations
• Participate in routine network maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities
• Escalate complex or critical issues to senior engineers, providing clear observations and documentation
• Learn and apply best practices for network performance, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to support operational needs and technical projects

• 5+ years of experience in the Networking Architecture and Design, Network Implementation, and Network Test Automation
• Strong foundation in IT network and system methodology (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post‑implementation support)
• In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, TCP/IP)
• Experience with logical design models (L2/L3, VPC, VDC, Datacenter Zones, Spanning Tree, VRF, VTP, VLANs, & cabling)
• Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QoS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, Trust Sec)

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or engineering
• Technical certifications (e.g., Network+, MCSE, Security+)

• Base salary range for this role is $90,000 – $125,000 and equity in the company
• Salary will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level
