OverviewSupport public and private sector transportation infrastructure projects through the planning, design, construction and commissioning phases. Responsible for project management, engineering, design management and coordination. Work with multidisciplinary project teams to provide technical leadership for urban rail transit projects or specific work streams within larger urban transit projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinate work packages, project reporting, and controls.
- Prepare and present technical reports and memoranda.
- Liaise with key client meetings and manage stakeholder liaisons.
- Oversee projects and work streams to ensure schedule, quality and budget requirements are met.
- Develop relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to promote the company and services offered, including involvement in business development activities.
Requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field plus four (4) years of experience as a Civil Engineer, Project Manager, or related occupation involving urban rail transit. Must also possess:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (US) or foreign equivalent.
- Two (2) years each in:
- Utilizing Microsoft software (Excel, Outlook, Project), VISSIM, or Open Track.
- Management of engineering contracts ensuring adherence to contract terms, satisfying scope, schedule and deliverable requirements.
- Managing planning projects for public sector transportation.
- Managing engineering design for public sector transportation.
- Managing construction for public sector rail transportation.
- Testing and commissioning for public sector rail transportation.
- Planning or executing Geotechnical Site Investigation Programs.
- Working with public sector procurement delivery methods and performing cost benefit analyses.
- Performing capital cost estimation and risk assessment for transportation projects.
- One (1) year each in:
- Planning and designing for hydrogen supply and hydrogen refueling projects in the transportation industry.
- Hazard assessments for hydrogen and battery-operated vehicles.
10% travel required (domestic and international). Some telecommuting permitted; employees must report to office at least 20 days per month.
Salary$195,000 - $210,000 /year.
