This confidential organization is developing advanced energy technologies in Los Angeles, CA. This fully on-site role supports the design, analysis, build, and testing of turbo machinery systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Design and develop turbo machinery systems (compressors, turbines, pumps, rotating equipment).
• Perform aerodynamic, thermodynamic, structural, and rotor-dynamic analyses.
• Own hardware from concept through detailed design, manufacturing support, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on system integration and rapid iteration.
• Support prototype testing, analyze performance data, and lead root-cause investigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and configuration control processes.

• 5+ years of turbo machinery or rotating equipment experience in energy, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong background in high-speed rotating machinery and mechanical design.
• Experience supporting prototype builds and experimental test programs.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in complex, high-performance systems.

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering analysis tools (FEA/CFD/rotor dynamics).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.
