Job Description / Primary Objective Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:
- Leading and managing water supply analyses pertaining to local and imported water, groundwater banking, water transfers, and demand management projects;
- Managing multiple projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables;
- Managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management;
- Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business;
- Developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals.

Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.)
Education and Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, water resources, environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or another applicable related degree. [required]
- Advanced degree the same. [preferred]
- Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.). [preferred]

Skills, Experience, and

Qualifications:

- At least 8 years of experience in the water resources field in the United States, preferably in the Southwest U.S.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. [required]
- Experience in water supply, water conservation, and analyses pertaining to local and imported water supply, groundwater banking, and demand management. [required]
- Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. [preferred]
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. [preferred]
- Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel on a limited basis. [required]
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. [required]
