Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians

Our client is located in the Los Angeles CA area designs and assembles Aircraft Interior products. They are looking for an experienced several Electrical/Mechanical Technicians required to carry out new product developments testings, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical products
Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for technical activities like experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment, design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment.
• Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions and in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
• Utilize manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, VOD, DVM, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC and Power Quality including RTCA/DO-160 requirements
• Track record using, setting up and operating electrical/electronic tools and equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, data loggers and spectrum analyzers and the use of 400
Hz, variable frequency power supplies and basic electrical test equipment like DVMs, O-scopes, & Wav Gens, power meters, anemometers, accelerometers, vibrometers, sound equipment and associated data recorders a plus.
• Experience setting-up, operate, and understand basic electrical test equipment such as DVMs, O-scopes, & Wav Gens, power meters, anemometers, accelerometers, vibrometers, sound equipment and associated data recorders a plus.
Qualifications:
• AA in Electronics with a minimum of 5 years' related work experience or avionics military career.
• Rating/MOS from a technical 'A' school in electronics with an honourable discharge pay-grade of E5/E6 required and Technical 'C' school will be considered as a plus.
