THE WORK:
* You'll provide senior-level field engineering support during active construction, including earthwork, bridge and structural elements (viaducts, foundations, CIDH piles, retaining walls), roadway, utilities, and grade separation elements.
* You'll review construction means and methods for compliance with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and constructability, with particular focus on structural work and sequencing.
* You'll understand how daily field activities impact critical path schedule, cost, risk, traffic handling, and public impacts and support resolution of field issues, conflicts, and unforeseen conditions with a solution-oriented mindset.
* You'll identify potential downstream impacts early and proactively elevate issues to the RE/CM team.
* You'll support coordination between design intent, construction execution, and contract requirements and assist with review of RFIs, submittals, structural shop drawings, change orders, and field directives.
* You'll support quantity tracking, progress verification, and pay estimate documentation and maintain accurate field records, daily reports, and photo documentation.
* You'll coordinate with inspectors, surveyors, utility owners, structural engineers of record, rail agencies (if applicable), and third-party stakeholders.
* You'll participate in construction meetings and provide informed technical input and communicate clearly and professionally with contractor supervision and client representatives.
* You'll support QA/QC processes and verification of work in place, particularly for structural concrete, foundations, and bridge elements.
* You'll reinforce safety expectations and compliance with project safety plans and assist with compliance related to environmental commitments, traffic control, and public agency requirements.
* Onsite at client site:
The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
* With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
$150,000 - $180,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.

Qualification
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience in construction engineering or construction management.
* 10-15 years of experience on transportation infrastructure projects with significant structures components (bridges, grade separations, retaining walls).
* 10-15 years of experience in construction sequencing, means and methods, and contract documents.
* 10-15 years of experience with construction documentation systems and standard CM tools.
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
* Contractor experience on transportation-related projects as a field engineer, superintendent, or project manager.
* Prior experience on public-sector projects in Southern California.
