We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Los Angeles office. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects and contribute to a mission-driven team that values technical excellence and client trust.

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

To lead and manage a team of engineers and designers.
Plan and execute the preparation of structural calculations and documents for complex building projects, including civic, commercial and residential construction.
Prepare proposals and assist in the establishment and management of project budgets and schedules.
Create and maintain client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or related field, Master's preferred.
At least 10 years of structural and earthquake engineering design experience.
Must be a licensed CA Professional Engineer; CA S.E. preferred.
In depth experience with design of vertical structures of commonly used materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood; single family home design experience desirable.
Proficiency in writing and oral presentations as well as possessing excellent communication skills.
Strong project management skills and experience in leading engineering team.

The salary range for this position is $125k-$145k per year. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
