- Perform independent technical reviews, make recommendations, and provide guidance on complex or unusual engineering projects.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to project leadership, and mentor or support production staff.
- Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation for complex or unusual projects.
- Coordinate technical aspects with clients and teaming partners at local leadership levels.
- Develop and advise on technical consistency across disciplines and projects.
- Ensure design standards are applied consistently and effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering and 11 years of relevant experience.
- PhD in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Lead technical engineer for large, complex projects, recognized as an expert.
- Experience with high‑speed rail corridor design and rail systems integration.
- Trusted advisor to clients, sought after for expertise.
- Represents the firm on industry advisory committees.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- 20 years relevant experience; 8+ years high‑speed rail or commuter rail experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience with high‑speed rail projects in California.
- Familiar with California General Practices.
