Project Engineer -(Heavy Civil & Transportation Infrastructure Projects – Southern California,

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (). We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team for heavy civil and transportation infrastructure projects in Southern California, USA (on-site position).

Highway, Bridge, Roadway, and Transportation Infrastructure Projects

24 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.

The Project Engineer will provide technical and administrative support to project management teams, coordinating engineering documentation, subcontractors, field operations, and project controls. The role will be involved in the day-to-day management of major transportation and heavy civil infrastructure projects throughout Southern California.

• Manage RFIs and submittals.
• Support project documentation and engineering records.
• Coordinate engineering activities between project stakeholders.
• Assist with scheduling, planning, and cost tracking activities.
• Interface with field teams, subcontractors, and project management.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance initiatives.
• Participate in project meetings and progress reviews.
• Assist in monitoring project performance and contractual requirements.
• Support construction operations through technical coordination and problem-solving.
• Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with project procedures.

Monday to Friday – 10 working hours (including a 1-hour lunch break)
