The Project/Field Engineer will be working on numerous large construction projects with the client.
Responsibilities- Understand all aspects of the Contract. Review contract budget, monitor costs and prepare reports as required.
- Review, track, process and distribute submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Change (RFCs), design submittals, shop drawings, product data, and work plans, meeting minutes, and other major correspondence.
- Review submittals, deliverables and other construction documents for completeness and accuracy, and for compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the approval process for documents and contract changes;
Manage and maintain the Document Control/Change Control process for all project documents;
Maintain controlled distribution lists. - Receive record and compile review comments;
Maintain an updated list of submittals, deliverables and other construction Documents. - Report on progress of submittal, RFI, and design submittal reviews at progress meetings. Develop and maintain spreadsheets.
- Oversee the updates and utilization of Primavera Contract Management Software.
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience working as a Project/Field Engineer on large construction project.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
- Valid California Class C driver’s license.
- Engineer-in-training registration is required. Registration as a Professional Engineer is desirable.
$71,038 - $132,363 a year

Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive:
Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
