We’re hiring an Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced avionics hardware, specializing in high-speed digital systems, flight computer architecture, and embedded electronics for mission-critical flight applications.
What You’ll Do:- Design and develop advanced board-level electrical hardware, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout oversight, and interface definition
- Own flight computer architectures, including processors, memory systems, and embedded hardware integration
- Perform board bring‑up, validation, debugging, and root‑cause analysis
- Test reference boards and prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment
- Drive signal integrity, power integrity, and reliability considerations throughout the design lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with avionics, embedded software, test, and manufacturing teams
- Support hardware/software integration and troubleshooting across avionics platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong experience with complex digital or mixed‑signal hardware design
- Experience with high‑speed digital systems, embedded processors, memory interfaces, and board‑level architecture
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power distribution, and hardware debugging
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment
- Experience designing flight computers, avionics, or embedded compute hardware
- Experience taking PCBAs from concept through validation and integration
- Exposure to embedded systems, firmware, or FPGA development
- Aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, or other high‑reliability hardware experience
- Programming experience with Python, C, or C++
