Lab Manager​/Chemist

We are seeking a Lab Manager / Chemist to oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring accurate testing, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of plating and chemical processes. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring the lab supports production, quality, and environmental goals while maintaining a culture of safety and accountability.

• Conduct and oversee chemical analysis of plating solutions, baths and related processes. Ensure chemical compositions remain within specified limits. Lead troubleshoot chemical issues and maintain accurate records in our laboratory software (Tru Chem).
• Collaborate with the Quality team for plating compliance. Implement and develop quality protocols and assist with audits and reviews.
• Monitor and manage wastewater treatment system. Ensure compliance and train staff in environmental safety as needed.
• Ensure lab and chemical handling meets OSHA, EPA and NADCAP standards.

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in chemical laboratory operations, preferably in plating, aerospace, or metal finishing.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• Strong understanding of plating chemistry, wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance.
• Familiarity with NADCAP, ISO 9001, and AS9100 standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
