Position OverviewSenior System Test & Automation Engineer – responsible for designing and executing tests for wireless communication systems, developing automated testing environments, and collaborating with R&D and software teams. The role is 100% onsite in West Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities- Design and test complete solutions using Silvus hardware and software products.
- Design and implement logging and log‑analysis tools to capture system and test infrastructure performance.
- Define new products and features, evaluate and perform field tests and trials for new product features and accessories.
- Work closely with the software development team to augment production test systems for new feature rollout.
- Perform manufacturing failure troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for production failures escalated to engineering.
- Test and harden existing features through firmware and hardware changes in realistic applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and Python; or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Demonstrated experience in wireless/networking or an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- All employment contingent upon clearance of background check and drug test.
- Experience with wireless and radio communication systems, radio frequency propagation, and digital communication technologies.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent organizational, attentiveness to details, and ability to multitask.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers.

Working Conditions &Physical Requirements
Office environment. Duties include lifting up to 20 lbs., bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and walking within labs.
Compensation$130,000 – $180,000 annually (range varies with experience and qualifications).
