Senior System Test & Automation Engineer

Senior System Test & Automation Engineer – responsible for designing and executing tests for wireless communication systems, developing automated testing environments, and collaborating with R&D and software teams. The role is 100% onsite in West Los Angeles, CA.

• Design and test complete solutions using Silvus hardware and software products.
• Design and implement logging and log‑analysis tools to capture system and test infrastructure performance.
• Define new products and features, evaluate and perform field tests and trials for new product features and accessories.
• Work closely with the software development team to augment production test systems for new feature rollout.
• Perform manufacturing failure troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for production failures escalated to engineering.
• Test and harden existing features through firmware and hardware changes in realistic applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and Python; or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Demonstrated experience in wireless/networking or an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• All employment contingent upon clearance of background check and drug test.

• Experience with wireless and radio communication systems, radio frequency propagation, and digital communication technologies.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking.
• Excellent organizational, attentiveness to details, and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers.

Office environment. Duties include lifting up to 20 lbs., bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and walking within labs.

$130,000 – $180,000 annually (range varies with experience and qualifications).
