Senior Designer/Drafter

Our client is a leading provider of live event production, custom fabrication, and audiovisual solutions, delivering large-scale experiences for corporate events, entertainment venues, experiential activations, and high-profile productions nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer/Drafter to lead drafting efforts, develop detailed 2D and 3D design documentation, and collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to deliver high-quality, buildable solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, extensive CAD experience, and a background in fabricated structures and custom projects.

Requirements:

• Required 5+ years of professional drafting, design, or CAD experience.
• 3–5+ years of advanced 3D CAD modeling and design experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading drafting teams, projects, or technical personnel.
• Strong understanding of:
  Wood and sheet goods Metal components and weldments Fabricated structures and assemblies Large-scale metal structures, roof systems, overhangs, or architectural statement pieces
• Strong proficiency creating detailed 2D drawing sets and complex 3D models.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Specialty Certifications (but not required) CSWP-SIM – "Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional – Simulation" CSWP-CAM – "Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional – CAM" CSWP-SM – "Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional – Sheet Metal"
