Annual Compensation:
Up to $240K

Role Overview:

• The primary focus of the role is to lead and support the west coast structural engineering team in winning projects and delivering high-quality solutions.
• The position involves a balanced approach, with 50% of the time dedicated to project delivery and 50% to business development.
• The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and championing the team's strategy and plans to achieve business targets and brand goals.

Responsibilities:

• Development and execution of the team's strategy for business targets and brand goals.
• External focus on client and collaborator relationships through meetings and industry events.
• Support and mentor the team in work-winning strategy.
• Maintain and enhance standards of project delivery.
• Develop and align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the regional strategy.
• Develop the reputation of the firm's structural engineering within the region and the US.
• Assist in developing fee estimates for various project types and ensure profitable, timely, and within scope delivery.
• Set an example of client care and general consultancy.
• Manage relationships with internal and external clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Utilize opportunities to win new commissions.

Candidate Profile:

• Significant track record of client engagement in California.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Licensed California SE.
• Proven ability to cooperate with various internal and external sources.
• Confident, proactive character with a track record of leadership in challenging situations.
