Role Overview

The TDIP Low Voltage Systems Integrator is the subject‑matter expert responsible for driving, designing and executing all IT, special systems and innovations across multiple terminal projects. The position acts as the primary IT liaison and airport/owner representative, collaborating closely with Information Management & Technology executives, system owners, airline partners, LAWA stakeholders and contractors to ensure consistent delivery of IT solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design, implementation and commissioning of terminal IT systems, including network systems, passenger processing, terminal management, baggage handling, building automation, lighting control, aircraft guidance, ramp management and related innovations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the ITM representative for scope implementation and with CBP and TSA for infrastructure and integration requirements.
  • Review and validate IT scope costs and ensure budget alignment.
  • Oversee the buildout and commissioning of IT rooms, networks, horizontal and backbone cabling.
  • Coordinate with contractors, IMT system owners and the LAWA cyber‑security team for migration, integration and security compliance.
  • Lead integration workshops through deployment and final commissioning of terminal and building/mechanical systems.
  • Develop overall construction planning, identify critical milestones, and prioritize activities with designers, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure work meets the latest plans, specifications, approved changes, submittals and RFIs.
  • Identify and resolve potential delays or significant scope changes, working with key project individuals to devise corrective action plans.
  • Participate in all coordination meetings with design, construction and stakeholder teams.
  • Manage the IT systems closeout process, ensuring documentation is completed promptly to close the project efficiently and cost‑effectively.
  • Maintain a safe work environment above industry standards.
Hardware/Software Knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Experience with CAD or Revit preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital content management systems and airport IT systems.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience, preferably on airport projects.
  • Experience with projects valued over $100 million.
  • Experience with various delivery methods:
    Design‑Bid‑Build, Design+CMAR, and Design/Build.
  • Proven management capability with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or a related technical field required.
  • Professional licensure or certification preferred (e.g., AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP).
