• Early-stage company solving critical national security challenges
• Engineering-driven culture focused on real-world deployment

• Own critical subsystems from concept through deployment
• Build hardware for extreme underwater environments
• Zero legacy — greenfield engineering challenges
• Hands-on testing including field and ocean trials
• Work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams

A hands-on engineering role where you will:

• Own a major mechanical subsystem end-to-end
• Develop designs from concept through production hardware
• Create CAD assemblies and manage integration interfaces
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid analysis (FEA + hand calc)
• Select materials for pressure, corrosion, and reliability
• Design for manufacturing with suppliers and internal teams
• Build, test, and validate hardware in lab and field environments

• Strong mechanical engineering experience (5+ years preferred)
• Deep expertise in one domain (propulsion, structures, etc.)
• Strong CAD and design for manufacturing skills
• Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
• US Citizenship (clearance eligibility required)

• Marine, aerospace, robotics, or defense systems experience
• Experience with submerged or pressure-based systems
• Full lifecycle product development experience
