Ramboll's Data Center Facilities team (formerly EYP Mission Critical Facilities) is a pioneer and leader in Data Center Strategy, Planning, Design, Integration, Commissioning and Testing with experience working in thousands of data centers in the U.S. and across the globe. We provide a broad set of services for enterprise, institutional, web scale, service provider and colocation companies.
Ramboll is seeking motivated and inquisitive early career or recent graduate Electrical Engineers to join our design team.
Responsibilities- Preparing basic designs and performs calculations in support of projects, following design, construction and government standards, using design software and drawing tools with supervision
- Analyzing reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects.
- Gathers and records information to be used for writing specifications and review vendor submittals and drawings.
- Visiting job sites to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical engineering skills.
- Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Prepares and presents routine technical reports.
- Candidates should have a B.S or M.S degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- Candidates with course work, or experience related to power systems, architectural or fire alarm design are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organization and time management
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Familiarity with drawing production tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT is favorable.
- Having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) is an advantage and we will support you in pursuit of your PE.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $65,000 to $77,500. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
