Overview
The Test Engineer primary function is to perform in-house equipment testing. The Test Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager. The role is based in our Chatsworth, CA office.
What You Will Do- Perform in-house Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Troubleshoot issues and work with engineering for drawing and software updates based on testing activities.
- Complete FAT, pressure, and leak test documentation for record.
- Provide feedback to engineering, project management, and manufacturing on lessons learned.
- Support shop in setup of temporary test equipment.
- Place system tags and labels.
- Take and organize engineering and marketing photos of systems.
- BS in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 to 3 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Familiarity with industrial process equipment
- Working experience with AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
The pay for this role is $75,000. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
