THE

WORK:
  • You’ll provide executive leadership and overall management of all project phases including pre‑construction, procurement support, construction, testing, and commissioning.
  • You’ll oversee multiple design‑build and/or alternative delivery contracts, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
  • You’ll serve as the primary liaison with client executive leadership, project controls, legal, and third‑party stakeholders, including local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.
  • You’ll lead contract administration activities including change management, claims avoidance and resolution, risk management, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • You’ll establish and enforce project governance, reporting structures, and performance metrics consistent with rail standards and FTA requirements.
  • You’ll direct multidisciplinary teams including construction management, design support, quality assurance, safety, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
  • You’ll coordinate closely with Cities within the project corridor to manage permitting, utility relocations, traffic control, and community impacts.
  • You’ll oversee implementation of project controls systems including cost management, scheduling, and risk tracking, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of issues.
  • You’ll lead executive‑level reporting, including preparation of briefings, board reports, and stakeholder presentations.
  • You’ll foster a collaborative, solutions‑oriented environment to resolve issues at the lowest level and maintain project momentum.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 25 years of progressively responsible experience in the management and delivery of major rail and transit infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity, preferably within Southern California
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required – California PE strongly preferred
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
  • Prior experience on large scale transit projects, LA Metro Projects, or similar large urban transit systems.
  • Familiarity with LA Metro policies, procedures, and project delivery frameworks
  • Strong local knowledge of Los Angeles communities and stakeholder landscape
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining safety and quality excellence
