Power Systems Engineer
We are seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical infrastructure within mission‑critical data center environments. This role focuses on ensuring reliability, resilience, and efficiency across medium‑ and low‑voltage power distribution systems supporting hyperscale and enterprise facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and load flow analysis
- Support the design and review of electrical distribution systems including switch gear, UPS, generators, transformers, and EPMS
- Evaluate system reliability, redundancy (N+1, 2N, etc.), and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with design engineers, commissioning teams, and construction partners to ensure technical compliance
- Review protection schemes and relay settings
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical system events
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other applicable standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in power systems engineering, ideally within data centers or other mission‑critical environments
- Experience with power system modeling software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, Easy Power)
- Strong understanding of medium‑ and low‑voltage distribution systems
- Knowledge of backup generation and UPS systems preferred
