Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field. When not in the field, they are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location, if available.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate, confer and provide consulting services and manage project activities from client identification through final invoicing.
  • Complete all billable consulting service projects.
  • Demonstrate broad product knowledge with the customer within a specific discipline.
  • Work independently on highly complex projects or with a team as assigned by the project leader.
  • Execute technical responsibilities including problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.
  • Lead all technical aspects of delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping for billing purposes when the Consultant is the sole or lead technical resource.
  • Support less experienced peers and act as a mentor or coach.
  • Design and implement networking solutions for clients, using in-depth networking knowledge.
  • Develop recommendations and implement new methods, techniques, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing complex networks as part of a large enterprise network team or in professional services/network integration environments.
  • Experience in planning, designing, and integrating secure network technology.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and a serious desire to make an impact.
  • Proficient with Visio design/diagram creation and documentation of professional, cohesive deliverables.
  • Strong ethics, trustworthiness, accountability, reliability, leadership, and collaborative teamwork style.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of internetworking technologies and how they are deployed in complex, global networks.
  • IPv4 and IPv6 experience.
  • WAN and iWAN expertise – transport and access planning, design, and deployment.
  • Experience with MPLS, Private Line, Hybrid WAN, Internet VPN, DWDM, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with MPLS integration, QoS, MPLS IP routing, migration planning, and transition.
  • LAN expertise – design and deployment.
  • Equipment selection, sizing, and detailed engineered design.
  • Data center expertise including core, distribution, and segmentation.
  • Wireless equipment selection, sizing, and design.
  • Layer 2 vs Layer 3 segmentation.
  • Virtualization path segmentation using GRE, VRF-Lite, L3

    VPN, L2

  • IP routing – planning, design, and deployment.
  • Routing protocols – OSPF, BGP, M-BGP, EIGRP, and related configurations.
  • IP addressing – NAT, DNS/DHCP, address summarization.
  • Experience with load balancing, DNS/DHCP, NAT, WANx, and proxies.
  • Experience with VLAN, VRF, and network segmentation technologies.
  • Experience with network virtualization and SDN technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI SDN technologies.
  • Knowledge of firewall design, configuration, network segmentation, and implementation (Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Fortinet).
  • Understanding of load balancing, F5 experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with SDN, Juniper, Velocloud, VMware/Virtualization, and IoT are a significant plus.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Industry certifications CCIE or proven equivalent experience with CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP.
  • Very strong leadership, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate complex networking engagements in large environments.
  • Ability to travel for engagement requirements.
Compensation & Benefits

Lead Consultant ATC earns between $120,200 - $201,800 plus $30,000 in commissions yearly if all sales goals are met.
