Strativ Group is partnering with a rapidly growing aerospace company developing advanced, high-reliability systems. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a Senior EMI/EMC Engineer to lead electromagnetic compatibility efforts across complex aerospace platforms.
Role OverviewThis role will support the design, integration, testing, and qualification of advanced electronic and electrical systems, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
Working closely with electrical, systems, avionics, and test engineering teams, you'll drive EMI/EMC requirements, influence system design, and support critical hardware through the full product life cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop EMI/EMC requirements for systems, subsystems, and components
- Define and implement EMC standards and best practices
- Perform EMI/EMC analysis, testing, and risk assessments
- Support qualification, certification, and compliance activities
- Generate technical documentation and engineering deliverables
- Partner with cross-functional teams to influence system-level design decisions
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM Fields
- Experience in EMI/EMC, electromagnetics, RF, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of EMC principles and testing methodologies
- Experience supporting complex electronic or aerospace systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability hardware experience
- Knowledge of grounding & bonding, charging effects, or radiation environments
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar tools
- EMC qualification and compliance testing experience
- Understanding of high-speed digital systems and communication protocols
- Competitive salary: $120,000 - $250,000 depending on level and experience
